A communique issued by the Regional Delegation of Secondary Education on May 12, 2023, reveals the following.

  • Registered candidates for the Common Entrance Examinations into Grammar schools, 9125.
  • Number of candidates who sat in for the exams, 8822.
  • Number of successful candidates, 7525.
  • Percentage passed 85.30% as against 91.25% of last year.
  • Passed in list A, 6684.
  • Passed in list B, 831.
  • Number registered for entrance into Technical Colleges, 2485.
  • Number sat, 2441.
  • Number of successful candidates, 1636.
  • Percentage passed, 67.02% as against 83.02% of last year.
