Launching competitive examination in the first year into the  Regional Training Centre of Posts and Telecommunications (RTCPT Buea) buea for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Mindful of decree N°2011/408 of 9 December 2011 organizing the Government.
Mindful of decree N°2011/409 of 9 December 2011 appointing the Prime Minister head of Government.
Mindful of decree N°2012/512 of 12 April 2012 organising the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.

On the proposal of the Director of the National Advanced School of Posts and Telecommunications.

HEREBY DECIDES AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1:

Competitive entrance examinations for admission into the different training cycles of the Regional Training Centre of Posts and Telecommunications (RTCPT Buea) Buea shall be written on the 22nd and 23rd of August 2023 at all Regional headquarters: Bafoussam, Bamenda, Buea, Douala, Garoua, Ngaoundere, Bertoua, Maroua, Ebolowa and Yaounde. kamerpower.com

Article 2:

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR WRITING.

1- Cycle for assistant Telecommunications Technicians (ATT).

• Should be male or female, aged 15 years at least as from the 1st of January 2024.
• Should be a holder of the General Certificate of Education “Ordinary Level” in four science subjects plus one advanced level subjects, Ordinary level technical GCE or any recognised equivalent certificate.

2- Cycle for Postal Clerks (AEX).

• Should be male or female, aged 15 years at least as from the 1st of January 2024.
• Should be a holder of the General Certificate of Education “Ordinary Level” in four subjects plus one advanced level subjects excluding Religion Knowledge or any recognised equivalent certificate.

Article 3: NUMBER OF PLACES AVAILABLE

The number of places available per cycle is as follow:

RTCPT BUEA

• Assistant telecommunications Technicians: 40 places.
• Postal Clerks: 40 places.

Article 4: ENSPT RTCPT Buea Entrance.

CONTENT OF CANDIDATES FILE:

Candidate’s file which must be submitted at NASPT Yaounde, RTCPT Buea or all Posts and Telecommunications Regional Delegations except Yaounde and Buea on the 18th August 2023 latest, shall be made up of the following documents:

1. An application form to be collected from all the Regional Delegations of Posts and telecommunications except Yaounde and Buea, the National Advanced School of Posts
   and Telecommunications Yaounde or the Regional Training Centre of Posts and Telecommunications Buea (RTCPT Buea) or in the school web site (www.supptic.cm).
2. A payment receipt to any Postal Giro services (CCP) or post office, account number 150657330-19 of 15,000 CFA.
3. A certified true copy of birth certificate not more than 03 Months old from the date of
   certification.
4. A certified true copy of the required certificate.
5. A school attendance certificate for candidates still expecting the results of the required certificate.
6. A medical certificate of fitness for working in the Posts and telecommunications sector, issued by a public medical practitioner. kamerpower
7. Four passport size photographs (4×4).
8. A certified true copy of the National Identity card.
9. A self-addressed stamped (350 CFA Postal Stamp) envelope.

Article 5: ENSPT RTCPT Buea Entrance.
EXAMINATIONS SYLLABUS REMAIN:

1. For the Assistant Telecommunications Technicians
   Officials scientific programme for lower six classes.
   
2. For the postal clerks
   Officials programme for lower six classes.

Article 7:

Examinations’ planning
The examinations shall be written according to the following schedule:

School fees per year
Candidates admitted into the school shall pay the following on the yearly basis.

• Cameroonian Candidates:
  
  Registration: 10.000 F CFA.
  Sporting and cultural activities: 10.000 F CFA.
  Insurance: 5.000 F CFA.
  
  Tuition
  Assistant Telecommunications Technicians: 200.000 F CFA
  Postal Clerks: 200.000 F CFA
• Foreign candidates
  
  Registration: 10.000 F CFA
  Sporting and cultural activities: 10.000 F CFA
  Insurance: 5.000 F CFA
  
  Tuition for ENSPT RTCPT Buea Entrance
  
  Assistant Telecommunications Technicians: 400.000 F CFA.
  Postal Clerks: 400.000 F CFA.

Article 9: ENSPT RTCPT Buea Entrance.

Examination registration fees are non refundable.

Article 10:

Only candidates who have submitted a complete and regular file shall be authorised to sit for the examinations.

Article 11:

The results of the examinations shall he published by a communique of the Minister of posts and Telecommunications.

Article 12:

Foreign students shall sit for special examinations organised by the Director of the National Advanced School of Posts and Telecommunications.

Article 13:

Candidates presented by the public and paraestatal organisms fulfilling the general conditions for the competitive entrance examination shall be authorised to write the exams.

Article 14:

The Director of the National Advanced School of POSTS and Telecommunications is charged with the implementation of this decision, which shall be registered, published and broadcast in both English and French wherever need be.
