Maillon indispensable du rayonnement de cette institution au plan national et international, l&#8217;<strong>IUT<\/strong> r\u00e9pond de mani\u00e8re sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 un besoin mainte fois exprim\u00e9 par le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat. C\u2019est vrai que les lauriers engrang\u00e9s en plus de 20 ans de fonctionnement en font d\u00e9j\u00e0 un institut de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence. Mais nul ne sait combien de troph\u00e9es il peut remporter avant de se voir d\u00e9finitivement sacr\u00e9 vainqueur de la grande course pour la formation professionnelle de la jeunesse. Le v\u0153u formul\u00e9 par le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat et re\u00e7u par M. Fotso Victor comme un serment est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 une qu\u00eate perp\u00e9tuelle. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En visite le 13 septembre 1991 dans ce qui \u00e9tait alors le Coll\u00e8ge priv\u00e9 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">la\u00efc polyvalent Fotso Victor de Bandjoun, <strong>SE Paul Biya<\/strong>, signant le livre d\u2019or, avait en effet f\u00e9licit\u00e9 et encourag\u00e9 le bienheureux homme d\u2019affaires. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ce dernier avait eu la vision et le courage de b\u00e2tir d\u00e8s 1987 un temple du savoir l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il aurait pu construire une grande usine ou un vaste centre commercial. D\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9merveillement du chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat qui avait alors qualifi\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9tablissement et l\u2019esprit qui le porte de \u00ab belle entreprise \u00bb,avant de formuler ses \u00ab v\u0153ux de succ\u00e8s \u00bb.
