Mindful of Order n°24/0054/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC/SE of 14th February 2024 fixing the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into institutions of State Universities for 2024-2025 academic year.

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1: HTTTC Concours ENSET Kumba Entrance 2023-2024.

A competitive entrance examination for the recruitment of student-teachers of the Technical Secondary Education into Year One of the Second Cycle of the Higher Technical Teachers’ Training College (H.T.T.T.C. ENSET Kumba) of the University of Buea, has been launched for the 2023-2024 academic year m the following departments and Options:

Article 2: Requirements into HTTTC ENSET Kumba Entrance.

(1) The examination shall be organised in one sitting to Cameroonians of both sexes, who fulfill the following conditions: kamerpower.com 

Department: Civil Engineering and Forestry Techniques
– Option: Building Construction

Required diplomas or certificates.

Engineer in Civil Engineering:

• Bachelor ‘s Degree in Building. kamerpower.com

• Bachelor ’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor ’s Degree in Rural Engineering.
• Bachelor ’s Degree in Architecture.

Option: Wood work

Engineer in Civil Engineering:

• Bachelor’s Degree in public Works.
• Bachelor of Technology in public works.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Engineering.

Department: Topography and Real Estate Management
– Option: Topography (Surveying)

Required diplomas or certificates.

HTTTC ENSET Kumba Entrance. 

Department: Social Economy and Family Management
– Option: Fashion, Clothing and Textiles

Required diplomas or certificates.

• Bachelor Degree in Clothing and Textiles Industry.
• Professional First Degree in textile.

Option: Home Economic and Family Management

• Bachelor Degree in Home economics or Food sciences.

(2) Candidates with equivalent qualifications recognized by the Minister of Higher Education are qualified to write the examinations.

Article 3: Age Limit requirements into ENSET Kumba Year One 2nd Cycle

1. Foreign candidates may be allowed to sit for the examination in the same academic conditions within the limits of the available places, in conformity with the regulations in force.
2. Candidates who are not ‘civil servants should not be more than 29 YEARS old as of January 1st 2024. kamerpower.com

Article 4: Required documents for HTTTC Kumba Entrance.

The application files shall comprise of the following documents:

1. A registration form to be collected from HTTTC Kumba, University of Buea, the Regional Delegations of Secondary Education or the MINESUP website www.minesup.gov.cm; or kamerpower.com
2. A certified photocopy of the birth certificate dated not more than three (3) months.
3. Transcripts of levels I, II, and III of “Licence” or Bachelor’s Degree signed or certified by the competent academic authorities.
4. A certified true copy of “Licence”, Bachelor Degree or equivalent diploma dated not more than (3) months. kamerpower.com
5. A medical certificate issued by-a medical officer from the Administration testifying that the candidate is physically and medically fit for teaching. It should particularly specify that the candidate does not suffer from serious physiological deficiencies in his diction, hearing, sight and motricity.
6. A certificate of non-conviction dated not more than three (3) months.
7. A receipt upon payment of twenty thousand (20,000) CFA as non-refundable registration fees delivered by EXPRESS UNION. No other form of payment will be accepted.
8. One self addressed A4 envelope bearing stamps in conformity with the regulations in force.
9. Two passport-size photographs.

Article 5.

1. Holders of foreign diplomas shall submit either the equivalence or the receipt showing that they applied for the equivalence of their diplomas or certificates. The Order granting equivalence and the receipt are issued by the Minister of Higher Education.
2. In any case their final admission in case of success will be subject to the presentation of the said equivalence within deadline set by the competent authorities.

Article 6: Application deadline for HTTTC ENSET Kumba.

Complete files should be submitted to HTTTC – ENSET Kumba; the university of Buea or the regional delegations of Secondary Education, latest 24th September 2023.

Article 7. 

(1) The examination shall comprise:

• Two written papers (70% of the total assessment). kamerpower.com
• Study of documents (30% of the total assessment).

Article 8: Date for writing of ENSET Kumba Entrance

The written papers will take place on the Saturday 01 October 2023 in the following examination centers: Bafoussam, Bambili, Bertoua, Buea, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua, Yaoundé and Kumba.

Article 9.

(1) The written examination will be in the departments and Options listed below:

(2) The syllabus of the competitive entrance examination in each Option are the same as in, the Baccalaureate or GCE A/L programmes.

Article 10.

1. Written examinations are scored on 20 points.  Any score below 05 points is eliminatory.

Article 11: Announcement of Results of successful candidates into HTTTC ENSET Kumba Entrance.

The study of documents will be based on: 

• the candidate‘s age; kamerpower.com
• the number of years spent in Secondary Education .
• transcripts of Probatoire, GCE O/L and that of Baccalaureate Or GCE A/L.

The final results shall be published by the Minister of Higher education after deliberations by the Jury.

Article 12:

The composition of the jury mentioned will be the prerogative the Minister of Higher Education.

Article 13.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea, the Director of University Accreditations and Quality, and the Director of the Higher Technical Teacher’s Training College of Kumba, each in his/her own sphere, are responsible for the implementation of this order which shall be registered and published in English and French wherever necessary.
