The Minister of Transport hereby informs the general public that, a competitive examination to train 120 Road Safety Experts is slated for Saturday 01 August 2026, at the unique centre of Yaounde, in the following fields:
- Driver’s licence and road safety inspectors.
- Driver’s licence and road safety delegates.

Complete application files must be submitted to the Regional Transport Delegations or to the Sub-Regional Institute of Road Safety and Research (ISSERR) no later than July 19, 2026, the deadline, and include the following documents:
- A certificate of presentation of the original of the required diploma.
- A certified photocopy of the required diploma.
- A certified photocopy of the birth certificate.
- A registration form that can be downloaded from the Ministry of Transport website or collected when submitting your application.
- A handwritten request stamped at 1500 FCFA addressed to the Minister of Transport and specifying the training cycle requested.
- A medical certificate signed by an administration doctor, attesting that the candidate is physically and mentally fit to practice the profession of Road Safety Expert, in connection with the driving of light and heavy vehicles.
- A large envelope stamped at 500 CFA francs (postal stamp) bearing the candidate’s full address; an extract from the criminal record (bulletin no. 3) dating back no more than three (03) months.
- Six (06) recent 4×4 photos in color/white background bearing on the back the surnames, first names, date and place of birth of the candidate.
- A certified photocopy of the national identity card.
- A certified photocopy of the residence permit covering the entire training period for the foreign candidate.
- A certified photocopy of the driving license. For foreign candidates, add a certificate of authenticity of said permit.
- A receipt justifying payment, to the Regional Transport Delegate, of the registration fees of 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) FCFA for external candidates and 40,000 (forty thousand) for internal candidates.
- A certificate of effective presence signed by the hierarchical superior of the place of employment for internal candidates and dating back no more than three (03) months.
Conditions to be fulfilled for entrance Examination
Mintransports Entrance Exam for Training Center of Road Safety Experts:
INTERNAL CANDIDATES
- Have a length of service of at least five (5) years.
- Hold a category “B” driving license.
- Hold a Baccalaureate, a GCE/AL or any other recognized equivalent diploma.
- Be aged 45 or less on the deadline for submitting competition applications.
EXTERNAL CANDIDATES
- Hold a Baccalaureate, a GCE/AL or any other recognized equivalent diploma.
- Be at least 19 years old and no more than 32 years old on the deadline for submitting competition applications.
Hold a category “B” driving license.
FOREIGN CANDIDATES
- Have a passport or residence permit that covers the entire duration of training.
- Be at least 19 years old and 32 years old at the most on the deadline for submitting competition applications.
- Hold a Baccalaureate, a GCE/AL or any other recognized equivalent diploma.
- Hold a category “B” driving license.
