ORDER N° 2400306 /MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC/SE of 24 MAY 2024

To launch the competitive entrance examination into the third year of the national higher polytechnic institute (NAHPI) of the University of Bamenda and to fix the number of places for the 2024/2025 academic year. 

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1: A competitive entrance examination through study of files is hereby launched for entry into the third year for the award of the Professional Master of Engineering (M.Eng, which is classified as GCE A/L+5) of the National Higher Polytechnic Institute of The University of Bamenda for the 2024/2025 academic year in the following Departments and programmes: kamerpower.com

Article 2: All successful applicants entering into the third year of this Institute are required to pay training fees of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) francs CFA in addition to University registration fees, per annum until completion of studies at the M.Eng level.

Article 3: The competitive entrance examination is opened to Cameroonians of both sexes. Applicants for admission into the third year of a programme in a given field should have one of the following entry requirements:

Article 4: Few remedial courses may be prescribed to admitted students where necessary

Article 5:

The application file shall comprise the following documents:

• A registration form to be collected from the national Higher Polytechnic Institute in Bambili or from the University of Bamenda Website: http://www.uniba-edu.cm or the Ministry of Higher Education: www.miriesup.gov.cm
• A certified true copy of birth certificate dated not more than three (03) months.
• A medical certificate issued by a State Mèdical Practitioner dated not more than three (03) months.
• A certified true copy of entry certificate or attestation of success where applicable.
• A certified true copy of either GCE A/L or Baccalaureat certificate or GCE Technical A/L or Baccalaureat Techncal Industrial certificate, as the case may be.
• Certified true copies of Transcripts for the last years of study in the University or a Higher Institution which issued the Certificate or Attestation of success.
• A Curriculum Vitae.
• A receipt upon payment of twenty thousand (20,000) FCFA as non-refundable registration Fees delivered by UBA Bank
  using the following bank code 10033, branch code 05204, and account number 0400400009038. No other form of payment is accepted;
• Four passport-size photographs.
• One self-addressed large envelope bearing a 400 francs CFA postal stamp.

Article 6: Complete application files should be submitted at the Office of the Director of the national Higher Polytechnic Institute in Bambili or Regional Delegations of Secondary Education in Bamenda, Yaounde, Douala, Bafoussam, or Buea only, or at the Ministry of Higher Education on or before September 06, 2024. Late or incomplete application files shall be rejected.

Article 7: The assessment of the competitive entrance examination shall be by study of files and will take into consideration the following:

• Grades of the entry diplorna or degree: 50/1 00
• Relevance of entry diploma or degree: 30/100
• Age of the candidate: 10/100 .
• Duration of studies to obtain entry diploma or degree: 10/100.

Article 8: A jury designated by the competent authority, shall prepare the list of successful candidates per Department by order of merit and submit it, in strict compliance, to the Minister of Higher Education for publication.

Article 9: Successful candidates shall report to the National Higher Polytechnic Institute for registration forrnalities within fifteen (15) days following the date of publication of the final results. Candidates, who fail to comply with this requirement, as need arise, shall be replaced by those on the waiting list following the order of merit, through a press release published by the Minister of Higher Education on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor of The University of Bamenda.

Article 10: The Vice Chancellor of The University of Bamenda. the Director of the national Higher Polytechnic Institute, the Director of University Accreditations and Quality of the Ministry of Higher Education. each in his/her own sphere, are responsible for the implementation or this Order. which shall be registered and published in English and French wherever necessary.
