NYSC Entrance (MPEPS, MEPS). To announce a training competitive examination to recruit 10 (ten) student Senior Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MPEPS) and 10 (ten) student Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MEPS), ten (10) élèves Maîtres Adjoints d’Éducation Physique et Sportive (MAEPS) into the National Youths and Sports Centres (NYSC) of Bamenda, Bertoua, Dschang and Garoua for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Mindful of decree No. 94/199 of 7 October 1994 to lay down the General Rules and, a Regulations of the Public service, as amended and supplemented by décree No 2000/287 of 12 October 2000.
Mindful of decree No. 2011/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government.
Mindful of decree No. 2011/410 of 9 December 2011 to form the Government.
Mindful of decree No. 2015/434 of 2 October 2015 to reshuffle the Government.
Mindful of decree No. 2012/537 of 19 November 2012 to organize the Ministry of the Public Service and administrative Reform.
Mindful of decree No. 2000/696/PM of 13 September 2000 to fix the General System of Government Competitive Examinations, Concours Administratifs.

Article 1:

NYSC Entrance (MPEPS, MEPS, MAEPS) – CENAJES Bamenda Dschang Bertoua Garoua

A training competitive examination to recruit 10 (ten) Student  Senior Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MPEPS) and 10 (ten) Student Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MEPS), ten (10) élèves Maîtres Adjoints d’Éducation Physique et Sportive (MAEPS) into the National Youths and Sports Centres (NYSC) of Bamenda, Bertoua, Dschang and Garoua is hereby announced for the Bamenda, Bafoussam, Douala, Garoua and Yaounde centres, for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The physical part of the said competitive examination shall take place on 05 and 06 August 2025 and the written part shall be conducted on 09 and 10 August 2025. 

The distribution of places are as follows:

a – For Senior Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MPEPS).

b – For Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MEPS).

c – For Maîtres Adjoints d’Éducation Physique et Sportive (MAEPS).

Article 2:

General requirements to sit for the competitive examinations

a)- General Conditions:

The examinations shall be open to all Cameroonians who meet the following conditions:

1. Fulfil the general requirements For employment into the Public Service as well as the conditions laid down by the general rules and regulations of the Public Service. kamerpower.com
2. Be physically fit to work as a Sports and Physical Education Teacher.
3. Be 17 (seventeen) years of age, at least or 31 (thirty-one) years of age, at most as at 1st January 2025 (be born between (01/01/1998 and 01/01/2008) for external candidates and 40 (forty) years of age at most, as at 1st January 2025 (be born between 01/01/1984 and 01/01/2008) For internal candidates.

b)- Specific Conditions:

1- For the admission into the cycle of Senior Sports and Physical Education Teachers (MPEPS).

• For external candidates, be holder of the Baccalaureate diploma of General Secondary Education (all series) or the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE-A/L) in two papers excluding “religious knowledge” or any other recognized equivalent certificate.
• For internal candidates, be a Sports and Physical Education Teacher (MEPS) with at least 3 (three) years of seniority as at 1st January 2025 or be a civil servant of the Youth and Sports, Armed Forces, Police and Penitentiary Administration, fulfilling the same Specific conditions required from external candidates and with at least 3 (three) years seniority as at 1st January 2025.

2- For admission into the cycle Of Sports and Physical Education Teacher (MEPS).

• For external candidates, be holder of the Probatoire certificate of General Secondary Education (all series) or both the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE-(OL) in four papers excluding “religious Knowledge” and General Certificate of Education Advance. Level (GCE-A/L) in at least one paper excluding “religious knowledge” or any other recognized equivalent certificate.
• For internal candidates, be Assistant Sports and Physical Education Teacher with at least 3 (three) years of seniority as at 1st January 2025 or be a civil servant of the Armed Forces, police and Penitentiary Administration, fulfilling the same specific conditions required from external candidates and with at least 3 (three) years seniority as at 1st January 2025.

3- Pour l’admission au cycle des Maîtres Adjoints d’Éducation Physique et Sportive (MAEPS) :

• pour les candidats externes: être titulaire soit du Brevet d’Études du Premier Cycle (BEPC), soit du General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE-O/L) obtenu en quatre matières au moins hormis la matière « religious knowledge» ou de tout diplôme reconnu équivalent.
• Pour les candidats internes, être Fonctionnaire des Administrations des Forces Armées et de Police
  ou de l’Administration Pénitentiaire remplissant les mêmes conditions spécifiques exigées des candidats externes et justifiant d’une ancienneté de trois (03) ans au moins dans ce grade au 1er janvier 2025.

Article 3:

File composition NYSC Entrance (MPEPS, MEPS, MAEPS)

Candidates’ complete files shall be submitted, against a receipt, at the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform, Department of State Human Resources Development, (4th floor, Rooms 405 and 409) or in all Regional Delegations of the Public Service, latest Friday 18 July 2025. The files shall comprise the following documents:

For external candidates:

1. A registration form bearing a CFA 1 000 francs fiscal stamp. The forms can be obtained at the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform or all its Regional Delegations or downloaded at the following website address: concoursonline.minfopra.gov.cm kamerpower.com
2. A certified true copy of birth certificate signed by a competent civil authority.
3. A certificate of non-conviction.
4. A certified true copy of the required certificate signed by a competent civil authority.
5. An attestation of presentation of the original of the certificate signed by a competent civil authority;
6. A medical certificate issued by a public sector Medical Officer.
7. An information sheet duly legalized by a competent authority.
8. A receipt attesting payment of the sum of CFA 25 000 (fifteen thousand) francs issued by EXPRESS UNION, either the Service Head for Direct and Scholarship Competitive Examinations at the Ministry or the Service Head for Recruitment and Training at the Regional Delegations of the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform.
9. Two passport-size photographs.
10. An envelope bearing a CFA 1500 francs stamp and the candidate’s address.

For internal candidates:

1. A registration form bearing a CFA 1 000 francs fiscal stamp. The forms can be obtained at the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform or all its Regional Delegations or downloaded at the following website address: www.minfopra.gov.cm
2. a copy of the Absorption or reclassification instrument.
3. A receipt attesting payment of the sum of CFA 25 000 (twenty thousand) francs issued by EXPRESS UNION, either the Service Head for Direct and Scholarship Competitive Examinations at the Ministry or the Service Head for Recruitment and Training at the Regional Delegations of the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform.
4. An authorization to sit the examinations issued by the Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform, after prior approval of the minister under whom the candidate is working.
5. An envelope bearing a CFA 1500 francs stamp and the candidate’s address.

N.B – NYSC Entrance (MPEPS, MEPS).

State employee candidates governed by the Labour Code who meet the conditions set out in Article 2 shall provide a copy of their comma or decision of employment. Kamerpower.com

MEPS candidates’ holder of GCE-O/L and GCE-A/L should produce certified true copies and attestations of presentation of original copies of the said certificates duly signed by a competent civil authority.

Incomplete or late files or files containing documents signed by the police shall not be accepted.

All documents should be certified by a competent civil, municipal or legal authorities and not more than 3 (three) months old.

1. Physical Part:

a. The venue of the physical part of the examinations shall be announced over the radio and on notice boards.

b. The system of evaluation of the physical part of the examinations is that of Upper Sixth form.

2. Written Part:

a. Msitres Principaux d’Education Physique et Sportive (MPEPS)!Maitres d’Education Physique et Sportive (MEPS).

b. Maitres Adjoints d’Education Physique et Sportive (MAEPS).

3. Oral exannnatian for candidates who have been declared succesful in the written part.

Article 5: 

Publication of results

Results of this competitive entrance examination shall be published through an instrument signed by the Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform.

• a) ln the absence of candidates from the Armed Forces, Police Penitentiary Administration, the number of places reserved for the latter 5 be allocated to civilian internal candidates.
  
• b) In the absence of internal candidates or when there is not a quorum. for number of places reserved for the latter shall be allocated to external candidates..

Successful internal candidates are admitted into the first year of their cycle of study.

Article 6:

This order shall be registered and published wherever necessary.
