Concours IUT Fotso Victor of bandjoun Concour 2024-2025.

To launch the competitive entrance examination into the first year of the Fotso Victor University Institute of Technology, Bandjoun (University of Dschang) and stating the required number of places offered for the 2024/2025 academic year. 

THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION HEREBY ANNOUNCES:

A competitive entrance examination into the first year of the University Diploma in Technology (UDT) and Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) of the FOTSO Victor University Institute of Technology, Bandjoun (University of Dschang) has been launched for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This entrance shall comprise of a written examination and studying of files which shall be taken place in the following centres: Bamenda, Bandjoun, Bertoua, Buéa, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua and Yaoundé. This communicate concern:

• Upper sixth students both scientific and industrial, series: C, D, E, MAV, MEM, IT and F as well as Upper Sixth science students (Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry) of the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE/A Level) who have obtained at least four subjects at the GCE “O” Level in one sitting excluding religious knowledge. kamerpower.com
• Holders of the “Baccalauréat” or GCE “A” Level in at least two science subjects obtained in one sitting excluding religious knowledge.
• Holders of an equivalent of one of the above-mentioned certificates signed or recognised by the Minister of Higher Education.

Complete application files should be deposited at the Students Record and compulsory Counselling Service of the FOTSO Victor University Institute of Technology, the Dschang University antenna at Nkolbisson / Yaoundé, and at the Regional Delegations of Secondary Education, latest 18th and 25th August 2023 respectively for both level degrees. Each file shall comprise the following compulsory documents

1. A registration form to be printed during the online registration on the website http://www.sigesonline.univ-dschang.org
2. Transcripts of Form 5, Lower sixth, Upper Sixth for both Scientific and Industrial Students.
3. Transcripts of the Baccalauréat or GCE “A’; Level and that of Probatoire or GCE “O” Level.
4. A certisfied photocopy of one of the certificates entitling the candidate to sit for the examination.
5. Four colour passport size photographs (4×4). Concours IUT Fotso Victor de bandjoun 2024-2025.
6. A certificate of non-conviction which is less than three months old.
7. A certisfied photocopy of the candidate’s birth certificate which is less than three months old.
8. A medical certificate which is less than three months old issued by a Doctor of the Public Service.
9. A stamped self-addressed envelope (size A4 400 Francs CFA).
10. A pay-in receipt of an amount twenty thousand (20, 000) francs CFA as registration fees. This sum can be paid through EXPRESS UNION, BICEC,EXPRESS EXCHANGE or MTN MOBILE MONEY on presentation of ticket (bill) downloaded and printed during the online registration.

The form for the registration procedure is also available on the website sigesonline.univ-dschang.org at the students record and Vocational Counselling Service of FV-UIT, Bandjoun, at the University of Dschang antenna in Nkolbisson/Yaoundé and in ail the Regional Delegations of the Ministry of Secondary Education. Registered candidates who are preparing for the required certificates examination shall be authorised to sit for the competitive examination on awaiting results. kamerpower.com

I- University Diploma in Technology (UDT): Concours IUT Fotso Victor de bandjoun 2024-2025.

The competitive entrance examination shall comprise:

1. a written examination
2.  an assessment of the candidate’s previous academic record.

Date of writing of examination:

The 19th of August 2023 for the competitive entrance examination into the first year of the UDT level degrees. 

The 25th of August 2024 for the competitive entrance examination into the first year of the BTS level degrees.

This competitive entrance examination shall be launched in the following courses, an in accordance with the number of places available as indicated hereafter:

Domain of study:

• Sciences and Technology, 405 places distributed as follows:
  Electrical Engineering: 90 places
  (GCE “A” Level in Sciences, Baccalauréat C, D, E and F).
• Computer Engineering: 90 places.
  (GeE “A” Level in Sciences, Baccalauréat C, D, E, F and IT)
• Telecommunications and Computer Networks Engineering: 45 places
  (GCE “A” Level in Sciences, Baccalauréat C, D, E, F and IT).
• Industrial and Productive Maintenance: 45 places
  (GCE “A” Level in Sciences, Baccalauréat C, D, E, F, MAV and MEM).
• Civil Engineering: 45 places
  (GCE “A” Level in Sciences, Baccalauréat C, D, E, F, BT).
• Thermal, Energy and Environment Engineering: 45 places
  (GCE “A” Level in Sciences, Baccalauréat C, D, E; F2, F3, F5).
• Automotive Mecatronik: 45 places
  (GCE “A” Level in Sciences; Baccalauréat C, D, E, F, MA V and MEM).

Programme: Concours IUT Fotso Victor de bandjoun 2024-2025:

The competitive entrance examination shall be based on the syllabus of the final year classes preparing students for the required certificates. They shall include the following papers: kamerpower.com

• Mathematics (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4).
• Physics (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4).

Selection Criteria:

1. Written examination (80 %).
2. Assessment of the candidate’s previous academie record (20 %).

Required school fees: 50 000FCFA

II – Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS):

Date of selection: Concours IUT Fotso Victor de bandjoun.

The selection through file studying into the first year of the vocational tram mg cycle (Permanent Training) shall be done on the 01st of October 2023 at the FOTSO Victor University Institute of Technology, Bandjoun, in the following courses and in conformity with the number of places available as indicated hereafter:

Domain of study: Sciences and Technology, 150 places distributed as follows:

* Electrical Engineering:
– Electronics option: 50 places
(Baccalauréat E, F2, F3)
– Electrotechnics option: 50 places
(Baccalauréat E, F2, F3, F5)
* Civil Engineering: 50 places
(Baccalauréat F4, BT, GT, BT IS)

Domain of study: Management and Commercial Sciences, 200 places distributed as follows
* Executive Secretaryship: 50 places
(Baccalauréat G1, ACA)
* Accounting and Business Management: 50 places
(Baccalauréat G2, G3, CG, ACC, FIG)
* Commercial Technics : 50 places
(Baccalauréat in any series).
* Banking: 50 places
(Baccalauréat in any series).
Required school fees: 200 000FCFA.

The competitive entrance examination shall be based on the Baccalaureat and GCE/AL syllabus of the series mention above.

The written part shall comprise of the following papers:

Sciences and Technology.

• Speciality paper (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4).
• Mathematics and Physics (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4).

Commercial and management.

First paper

• Accounting (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4) for Accounting_and Business Management.
• Administrative Technics (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4) for Executive Secretary ship.
• General Mathematics, Probability and Statistics (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4) for Commercial Technics and Banking.

Second paper.

• General knowledge in Economies Sciences and Management (Time: 4 hours, coefficient 4) for all speciality.
• For Selection Criteria, the Written part count for (80 %) and the Assessment of the candidate’s previous academic record for (20%).
