Announcing a special competitive entrance examination and fixing the number of places for admission into Level II of the “Ingénieurs” Programme in the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (Concours FASA Cameroon Level II) of the University of Dschang for the 2023/2024 academic year. kamerpower.com

Article 1 :

A special competitive entrance examination for the admission of thirty (30) students into Level II of the « Ingénieurs» Programme in the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (FAAS) of the University of Dschang for 2023/2024 academic year will take place on the following dates and in the centres indicated below : kamerpower.com

Dates: 26 August 2023.
Centers: Douala, Dschang, Ngaoundere and Yaounde.

Article 2 :

1. The entrance examination is open to Cameroonians of the both sexes who are holders of the Certificate of Senior Agricultural Technicians or Senior Forestry or Agro forestry Technicians with the Baccalauréat (scientific series) or the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level in at least two science subjects or the DEUG (two years in a Faculty of Science) or any other equivalent certificate recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. kamerpower.com
2. Citizens of member countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Union (CEMAC) which have ratified texts on national management of students and who are holders of equivalent qualifications are eligible to write the entrance examination under the same conditions as their Cameroonian counterparts.
3. Candidates from other countries including CEMAC member countries who do not write the entrance examination but hold a scholarship from their Government or international organisation may apply for direct admission, which is contingent upon the number of available places and payment of 1.000.000 (one million) FCFA / year as tuition fees.
4. The twenty (20) students shall be distributed as follows:
   1. 15 for those who write the entrance examination :
      1. 10 for holders of the Junior Technicians Certificate,
      2. 05 for holders of the DEUG.
   2. 05 for those who do not write the entrance examination.

Article 3 : Application files

Each candidate should forward to the Students’ Records Service of FASA, not later than 24 August 2023, a complete application file comprising the following documents:

1. An application form downloaded from the SIGES ONLINE website with the address http://sigesonline.univ.dschang.org respecting the preregistration procedure provided by the website;
2. A certified-true photocopy of the GCE « A » Level Certificate, in at least two science subjects or Baccalaureate (scientific series) or an equivalent certificate; or a certified-true copy of results slip.
3. AA certified-true copy of the Senior Agricultural Technicians, or Senior Forestry Technicians or Senior Agro forestry Technicians Certificate, or the DEUG or any the equivalent diploma recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education.
4. Transcripts of year 1 and year 2 of the above programmes.
5. A curriculum vitae.
6. A certified-true photocopy of birth certificate (issued not more than 3 months old).
7. A medical certificate of fitness for manual work and sports signed by a Government Medical Doctor.
8. Employer’s authorisation to write the entrance examination (for applicants earning a salary).
9. 4 passport photos (4×4) (name written behind each photograph).
10. A receipt showing payment of 20000 FCFA (twenty thousand FCFA) into the account n° 96196538001-56 examination fee by an authorised financial Institution (available from the website) to be presented at the examination hall. kamerpower.com
11. A large (A4 size) self-addressed stamped envelope (postage determined with the contents of file).
12. The candidate should deposit his/her complete application file at the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Dschang (UDs) or any of the Antennae of the UDs -(Yaounde/Nkolbisson, Maroua, Ebolowa, Bambui, Belabo), the Regional or divisional delegation of secondary education( only for localities where there is no university of Dschang antennae).

Article 4 :

The application fees are non-refundable.

Article 5 :

Only candidates who submit complete application files shall be authorised to write the entrance examination.

Article 6 :

1. The entrance examination shall comprise a written part and an assessment of the candidates’ previous academic records.
2. The written examination shall comprise the following subjects:
   SENIOR TECHNICIANS

3. The programme of study is the one being followed in the classes preparing students for certificates required to write the entrance examination.

Article 7 :

1. Each subject shall be marked out of 20 points and a score below 04/20 in any of the subjects shall eliminate the candidate.
2. Assessment of candidates’ previous academic records shall be based on:
   + Transcripts of Level 1 and Level II for holders of DEUG.
   + Transcripts of Year 1 and Year II for holders of the Senior Technicians Certificate.
   + The number of times the candidate repeated.

Article 8 :

1. The candidate’s final mark in the examination shall be calculated as follows: 60 % for the written examination and 40 % for the previous academic record.
2. The results will be compiled and prepared by a panel appointed by the Minister of Higher Education on the proposal of the Rector of the University of Dschang.

Article 9 :

The Rector of the University of Dschang, the Director of University Accreditations and Quality and the Dean of FASA are, each in his capacity, responsible for the implementation of this decision which shall be registered and published in English and French wherever necessary.
