BIOLOGIE

1. Donnez une définition succincte de : plante dioïque, transport actif, acide nucléique, transcription, codon, mutation, sélection naturelle, hormone. fovéa et  «feed-back»
2. Décrivez schéma à l’ appui, le reticulum endoplasmique. lndiquez son rôle.
3. Trois grenouilles, une normale (A), une à encéphale détruit (B), et une à moelle épinière et encéphale détruits (C) sont chacune pincées au niveau de la peau d’une patte.

   2) – Présentez la coupe longitudinale d’une mangue. Précisez entre parenthèses pour chaque structure annotée. l‘élément floral dont elle est issue.

2. Define and draw a diagram of the endoplasmic reticulum. What are its functions?
3. Three frogs, one normal (A), one with the cerebrum destroyed (B), and one with the cerebrum and spinal cord destroyed, are each pinched on the skin of a limb. kamerpower.com
   
   1). Which of these frogs is/are likely to respond to the pinch for instance by leaping to escape. Why?
   
   2). Which of these frogs is/are likely to respond even to an approaching hand. Why?
   
   3). Which of these frogs is/are likely to respond to the pinch even following anaesthesia of the skin of the limb? Why?
   
4. Draw a diagram of the longitudinal section of an angiosperm flower. Which parts may be missing from anemophilic flowers? Why?

5. Two sets homozygous of maize/corn, one with broad leaves and a normal stem and one with normal leaves and a dwarf stem, are crossed. .The seeds derived from the cross produce only sets with broad leaves and normal stems. These sets crossed with those with normal leaves and dwarf stems produce the following progeny:
   
   – 44 sets with broad leaves and normal stems
   – 38 sets with normal leaves and dwarf stems
   – 10 sets with broad leaves and dwarf stems 
   – 8 sets with normal leaves and normal stems
   
   1). Describe the relationship between the characters considered in these crosses
   2). Supposing linkage, give the per cent crossing overs.
