What is Wizard101 all about?
Wizard101 is a multiplayer online adventure game. The game is fun for all ages and can be played on a PC or mobile phone. Once inside, you can experience the journey of a wizard, from learning to control and use magic to exploring distant places and using your magic to keep others safe from harm. It’s about you and your decisions.
What is the most powerful school in Wizard101?
There is no better or worse school. It all depends on what you enjoy. Fire is best for damage over time, and ice is best for defense. The Storm school is the strongest in terms of hit points, but completely lacks defense and the myth is good to stun and minions.

Top Wizard101 Schools
1. Storm Wizard101 School
Storm School trains its student mages to do a lot of damage. The Storm Wizards can unleash large amounts of damage from a starting level, which is nice, but they place too much emphasis on power and therefore suffer in terms of accuracy. Storm school is a glass cannon with terrible Health and Accuracy, and low stamina, but countered by incredible critical damage. The storm is mostly damaged but ultimately focuses on removing spells.
2. Fire School
The fire school students are often regarded as one of the strongest wizard101 schools and are known as Pyromancers. The students are smart, stormy, angry easily, and have great passion and enthusiasm. Their spells aren’t as effective at first, but they stack up for potentially large amounts of damage. Awesome is also one of the key spells in this particular Wizard101 School.
3. Myth School
The Myth School trains its students to summon servants. Myth wizards eventually receive several different types of servants, each with a slightly different role. They have their medium damage, medium-accuracy spells, but many of their spells are more functional with empowerment, healing, and protection for their minions.
4. Ice Wizard101 School
The students of this wizard101 school are known as thaumaturges and learn to embrace and use the power of ice. They use chants to implore ice creatures to serve them. Of all Wizard101 schools of magic, the ice school students have the highest health scores and natural defenses.
5. Death School
Of all the Wizard101 schools of magic, Death School has some of the most complex spells in the game. Spell combinations work best with this school and often work best with swords and traps. Known as necromancers, and they learn all kinds of spells except those that affect all friends.
6. Balance Wizard101 School
Balance School trains its students to be effective in group play. Its mages are most effective in group play because they can improve other players as well as themselves. They have a bit of everything that allows them to overcome most resistances, heal a little, and empower players.
7. Life School
Positivity, enthusiasm, and an appreciation for simple pleasures are the defining characteristics of this Wizard101 schools of magic. Students, better known as theurgists, can also be frivolous and reckless when circumstances outweigh them. These theurgists bring things to life using the song of creation to create something new. Healers are also primarily able to cast attack spells with medium damage and extremely high accuracy.
8. Sun School
Turn your cards into treasure cards! Well kind of… You can add damage and accuracy to the spells you already have. I mean who wouldn’t like to add a little damage or make sure it has a better chance of working! This is VERY important because of the damage adding spells. If you don’t have those you basically can’t play the game at higher levels.
Sun doesn’t take up a turn! You just enchant the spell and use it, unlike star and moon… Sun literally makes every type of spell better. necessary if you are higher level wizard.
9. Star Wizard101 School
The auras in the star school are pretty useful, but not enough so that I would rank it as the best school on Wizard101. They look cool enough, though. My favorite part about auras is that they help boost your stats, but the Wizard101 creators balanced this out by making the wizards more vulnerable to the school opposite of their primary school, in those specialized auras, which I appreciate. Also, they only last four rounds.
10. Shadow School
Shadow has to be trained near the end of the game. Level 90-100 in khrysalis. It helps a lot, though, in battles in khrysalis and polaris. I did not know there was a Shadows class! O_O I wish I could find it!

There are 2 different types of magic in Wizard101: Elemental and Spiritual. Fire, Ice, Storm, and Balance are part of the elementary category of magic, and the spiritual characteristics are a myth, life, death, and balance.
