Google Online Marketing Challenge (Google OMC) now called the Google Nonprofit Marketing Immersion.The online marketing challenge is for a non-profit and partnering student who came up as a team member.
Google Ad Grants have helped thousands around the country and help us too to effect changes through awareness. Google OMC empowers over 38,000 nonprofit organizations around the globe. Also with free in-kind AdWords advertising credit that worth up to thousands of dollars per month.
The new Google OMC will pair student teams with Ad Grants’ nonprofit organizations for students to gain valuable real-world skills through working with nonprofits’ AdWords accounts and also as to drive real social impact.

Google Online Marketing Challenge procedure – OMC
Consider the following while Preparing on the Google online marking challenge, ;
- Before getting ready for competition, you need to have a solid team. A maximum of 6 members and a minimum of 3 members are allowed.
- The next step will be to decide on a company that has not done any Adwords campaign in the past 6 months.
- After deciding on the company, understand its business objective. Check if they actually require Online Marketing or not.
- You need to prepare a pre-campaign report, and after getting it approved Google credits an amount of $250 to your Adwords account.
Google OMC Challenge Worth and Awards
The Google Online Marketing Challenge is worth over $32,000 split by prize place.
3rd-place prize
- A $5,000 donation by Google to the winning Student Team’s Competition Client
- Residents of some countries will receive alternate prizes of equal or greater value at Google’s discretion.
- For each Student in the winning Student Team, a portable computing device with a maximum retail value of approximately $500.
- And each Student in the winning Student Team and their Professor, a personalized certificate of appreciation noting their status as a prize winner in the Competition.
2nd-place prize
- 2nd price $10,000 donation by Google to the winning Student Team’s Competition Client.
- Residents of some countries will receive an alternate prize of equal or greater value at Google’s discretion.
- Each Student in the winning Student Team and their Professor, a personalized certificate of appreciation noting their status as a prize winner in the Competition.
- And equally for each Student in the winning Student Team, a portable computing device with a maximum retail value of approximately $500 would be awarded.

- 1st Price of $15,000 donation by Google to the winning Student Team’s Competition Client
- Residents of some countries will receive alternate prizes of equal or greater value at Google’s discretion.
- Each Student in the winning Student Team and their Professor, an invitation to participate in a Hangout with a Googler.
- For each Student in the winning Student Team, a portable computing device with a maximum retail value of approximately $500.
- And also each Student in the winning Student Team and their Professor, a personalized certificate of appreciation noting their status as a prize winner in the Competition.
Eligibility for the Google OMC
- Have an active (not suspended) Google Ad Grants account.
- The scholarship is open to the “Professor” i.e. a faculty member, lecturer, or instructor currently employed by a vocational school, community college, or other accredited institution of higher education (each a “Higher Education Institute”).
- Meet with the students to share information about your organization and goals.
- Participant must abide by google grant Policy.
- Student who (a) is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate course at any Higher Education Institute.
- More than 50 countries are allowed to participate in the Google challenge.
- The Scholarship is also available for all students.
