Standardized Test Scores
While they left SSAT on their list of application requirements, they recognize the challenges of accessing the test this year. Derryfield has offered testing during the months of October and November, and they hope to add Flex testing dates in late January and early February.
A student who is unable to provide an SSAT score this year will not be penalized in the process. In addition to SSAT, we also encourage families to share other test results (SAS, Terra Nova, Iowa, etc.).
Derryfield School Tuition and Fees
The Derryfield community includes families who can afford high-level tuition and whose philanthropic generosity provides a vital component of annual operating expenses. Each family is expected to contribute to the cost of education, thereby supporting the community to the extent that each family’s unique financial profile allows.
There are also families that manage to pay tuition at the highest level only by making a substantial sacrifice, those that can only afford the minimum tuition fees, and those that fall in between. All families requesting fair tuition fees complete an application through a third-party service. Based on the results of this application, your fair tuition rate is confirmed along with admission decisions.
