Competition for admission is high, so meeting these requirements does not guarantee your admission. Students admitted to UC San Diego exceed minimum UC admission requirements. UC San Diego will not consider SAT or ACT test scores as a factor in admissions decisions.
What is the SAT Score Choice Policy?
The UCSD has the Score Choice policy of “All Scores.” This means that the UCSD wants you to send all SAT scores you’ve ever taken to their office. From discussion with admissions officers, we’ve got to know that the 4-6 tests are a safe number to submit. UCSD concentrates on your score.
If you take the test more than 6 times, colleges begin questioning why you’re not developing with each test. They’ll doubt your study skills and ability to develop.
