THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION
The Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil provides scholarships to Cameroonian students as part of its post-Graduation Agreement Program (PEC-G) for the academic year 2023/2024.
The Exchange Program for Undergraduate Students (PEC-G), officially created in 1965 by Decree 55,613 and currently ruled by Decree 7,948/2013, provides students from developing countries with which Brazil maintains educational, cultural or scientific and technological agreements the opportunity to pursue their undergraduate studies in Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
PEC-G is administered by the Ministry of External Relations (MRE), through the Division of Educational Themes (DCE), and the Ministry of Education (MEC), in partnership with HEIs throughout the country.
I- Requirements:
- Be of Cameroonian nationality or citizen residing in Cameroon.
- Being with a license with mention Assez Bien at least.
- Commit to the rules of the scholarship program “PEC-G“
Who can apply?
PEC-G is aimed at students from developing countries with which Brazil maintains educational, cultural or scientific and technological agreements. Applicants must have completed the corresponding study level to the Brazilian High School (secondary school) in some country other than Brazil; cannot be Brazilian citizens; cannot be holders of dual nationality nor holders of any type of visa to Brazil.
To participate, applicants must submit the required documents at the Embassy or Consulate of Brazil in their country. It is important to be informed about the participating Brazilian Institutions of Higher Education and courses currently offered. In the application form, applicants may indicate two options of undergraduate courses and two options of Brazilian cities to live.
PEC-G applications are totally free of charge.

Application Form
The application form must be filled by the Embassy or Consulate employee and signed by the applicant.
Required documents
Applicants must present at the Brazilian Embassy or Consulate in possession of the following documents:
- Original and copy of the transcript of secondary school (High School) or equivalent;
- Original and copy of certificate of completion of secondary school (High School) or equivalent;
- Original and copy of the Celpe-Bras certificate; OR proof of registration in the Celpe-Bras exam;
- Original and copies of the candidate’s and both parents’ Birth Certificates;
- Original of certificate of physical and mental health issued within the last three months before application;
- Original of Statement of Financial Responsibility (TRF), in Portuguese, accompanied by proof of the signatory’s income, attesting their capability to fulfill the commitment made;

Attention:
- Applicants from countries where there is no Celpe-Bras exam must take the exam in Brazil, in a sole opportunity, upon the conclusion of the Portuguese as a Foreign Language preparatory course to the Celpe-Bras exam, in an accredited HEI.
- The Statement of Financial Responsibility (TRF) declares that the applicant counts with at least one source of income able to fund his/her trip to Brazil and his/her return to their home country, as well as installation and maintenance in Brazil throughout the duration of the course.
II- Composition of the file
Selected students must inform themselves of the academic calendar of the Brazilian HEI they were assigned to, in order to plan their arrival in Brazil. Brazilian HEIs will not receive students who arrive after the registration period.
It is necessary to submit the following documentation at the time of enrollment at the HEI:
- Presentation Letter issued by the Brazilian diplomatic representation;
- Original and certified copy of student’s Birth of Certificate or Certificate of Marriage;
- Original transcript and certificate of completion of high school or equivalent, translated and legalized by the consular authority;
- Two originals of the Statement of Commitment for Registration, dated less than three months from the date of enrollment in the Brazilian IES, duly legalized by the consular authority (One of the originals must be submitted to the PEC-G coordinator and the other to the sector responsible for enrollment at the Brazilian HEI);
- Two originals of the Statement of Financial Responsibility, dated less than three months from the date of enrollment in the Brazilian IES, duly legalized by the consular authority (One of the originals must be submitted to the PEC-G coordinator and the other to the sector responsible for enrollment at the Brazilian HEI);
- Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas – CPF (National Identification Number) registry;
- Certificate of physical and mental health, issued within the last 90 days;
- Celpe-Bras Certificate, for students from countries where the exam can be taken;
- Passport with student visa;
- 6 color photographs size 3×4 cm.
After registration, academic matters such as subject choices or change of course must be dealt directly with the IES, without interference of MRE or MEC.
Requests for course changes or IES transfers shall follow the stated in Articles 9 and 10 of Decree No. 7,948/2013.

can i apply for a Master programme, also i cant find the type of courses offered and do i have to pay any thing?
when is the application period open and when is the deadline?
