THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION,
HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1.

1. ENSET of Douala online registration procedure concours ENSET Douala 2023-2024.
2. In accordance with Order n° 15 / 0045 / MINESUP / DAUQ / SDEAC / SE of the 10th February 2023 to fix the calendar of competitive entrance examinations for 2022-2023 academic year, the competitive entrance examinations into ENSET for 2023-2024 are launched with conditions stipulated in the present order.
3. The written part of the examinations specified above shall take place in the following centres: BAFOUSSAM, BAMENDA, BERTOUA, BUEA, DOUALA, EBOLOVVA, CAROUA, MAROUA, NGAOUNDERE, and YAOUNDE.

ARTICLE 2. AGE LIMIT

The competitive entrance examination is Open to Cameroonians of both sexes and of 

• not more than twenty eight (28) years old on January 1st 2024 for admission into the first year of the 1st cycle. 
• not more than thirty one (31) years old on 1st January 2024 for admission into the third year of the 1st cycle through a written examination.
•  not more than thirty two (32) years old on 1st January 2024 for admission into the first year of the 2nd cycle through a written examination.

Candidates who are civil servants and who meet every other requirement are not concerned by the age limit.

ARTICLE 3. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

Candidates must be holders of the following certificates:

A. For admission into 1st year of the 1st cycle (written examination).

1. For the Division of Management techniques

• Baccalaureate B, G1, G2, G3, BT/ESF or General Certificate of Education Advanced Level in Economics, Secretarial Studies, Accounting, Business Studies or Economics and Social issues. Civil servants should be holders of a Baccalaureate and a CAPIET in the speciality.
• General Certificate of Education Advanced Level obtained in Economics and in one of the following three papers: Management, History, Geography, in addition to at least four papers at the Ordinary Level (Religious Knowledge excluded).
• All other equivalent certificates or qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education.

2. For admission into the Division of Engineering

1. Baccalaureate C, D, E, F, I, BT/MA, BT/CH, BT/MAV, BT/MB, BT/IH, BT/IS, BT/CI, BT/GT. BREVET PROFESSIONEL certificates are not accepted.
2. General Certificate of Education Advanced Level obtained in at least two of the following subjects: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, in addition to at least four subjects at the Ordinary level (Religious Knowledge excluded).
3. All other equivalent certificates or qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education.

B. For admission into the 3rd year of the 1st cycle (Admission through a written examination).

BTS, DUT or HND delivered by‘the Minister of Higher Education, for the following specialities: TAD (SD, SBB), STEG (CI, CGE, and TC), GCI (BTS GC) GEL, (EN, ET, and FC), GME (CM, FM, and MA); GFO (MEB), 1TH (1H), GINFO (II), ESF (ESF). Holders of the DUT must also be holders of the Baccalaureate, the Brevet de Technicien or the Advanced Level in their speciality.

C. For entrance into the 3rd year for admission into 1st year of second cycle (through written examination).

1. For admission into Administrative Technique (TAD) exclusively: Bachelor Degree in Letters, Law, or any equivalent certificate recognised by the Minister of Higher Education.
2. For admission into Management Techniques: Bachelor Degree in Management, or any equivalent certilicate recognised by the Minister of Higher Education, ENSET Douala Entrance 2020-2021.
3. For Electrical Engineering: Bachelor Degree in Physics, Electronics / Electrotechnics / Automatism (EBA), or any equivalent certificate recognised by the Minister of Higher Education.
4. For admission into Guidance Counselling, Department of Education Sciences, exclusively: Bachelor in Law, Letters, Psychology, Sociology, and Bachelor Degree in Education, or any equivalent certificate recognised by the Minister of Higher Education. kamerpower.com

D. For admission into the 1st year of the 2nd cycle (Admission through written examination or study of files).

For Engineering: Diploma in Engineering in GCI, GEL (EN, ET, FC) GME (CM, FM, MA), or equivalent certificates recognised by the Minister of Higher Education.

ARTICLE 4.

Candidates preparing for the certificates cited at A, B, C, D, I and F above are authorised to write the examinations, subject to obtaining the certificates required. Nevertheless, their final admission into ENSET will be confirmed only upon the presentation of the original the certificate obtained no later than September 10th, 2022.

 ARTICLE 5.

APPLICATION FILES ENSET Douala Entrance 2024-2025.

Applications for the competitive entrance examination which must be received at ENSET not later than the 09th September 2022 must include the following documents.

1. Completed application form (the form which is available at ENSET, the Rectorate of the University of
   Douala, the Regional Delegations of the Ministry of Secondary Education, Government Technical High
   Schools of Cameroon and the web site of MINESUP www.minesup.gov.cm or www.kamerpower.com).
2. Transcripts of Lower and Upper Sixth forms, signed, dated and annotated by the Principal of the School where the original were issued.
3. A certified true and legible photocopy of the birth certificate of less than three (3) months old.
4. A certified true and legible photocopy of each of the required certificates;Candidates who are holders of Baccalaureate or GCE A/L shall add a certified true copy of Probatoire or Ordinary Level.
   As concerns the following certificates: HND delivered by the Ministry of Higher Education, BT, DUT, Bachelor Degree, or equivalent recognised by the Ministry of Higher education, add the transcripts obtained from the Students’ Affairs Office of the University Institution concerned, should be added including the certified true and legible photocopies of the Baccalaureate and Probatoire, or the GCE A/L and the GCE O/L.
5.  A medical certificate of less than three (3) months old, delivered by a medical Doctor of the Public Service, attesting the candidate’s fitness to be a teacher according to the rules and regulations in force.
6. A certificate of non-conviction of less than three (3) months old.
7. Four (4) passport size pictures of the candidate.
8. A receipt upon payment of the sum of fifteen thousands (15,000) FCFA as registration fees. The registration fees are paid into the ENSET bank account n° 51oo9200001-52 domiciliated at BICEC. The fees can be paid into the same account number in all BICEC branches nationwide.
9. A stamped, self-addressed envelope size 28 x 37.
10. An unstamped envelope without address size 28 x 37.
11. A document showing that the equivalenee has been formally granted for any foreign certificate contained in the candidate’s file.

 ARTICLE 6. CALENDAR

1. The written examinations into 1st, 3rd of the first cycle and 4th year of the second cycle shall take place on 24th and 23th September 2022 in the centres indicated in article 1 above.
2. Access to the examination halls will be subject to the presentation by each candidate of his or her national identity card and the receipt for the application fees mentioned in article 5 above.

 ARTICLE 7.

The registration fees for the competitive entrance examination and the selection for readmission are not refundable.

ARTICLE 7: ENSET Douala Entrance 2024-2025.

PRIVATE CANDIDATES AND FOREIGNERS

1. Applicants who fulfill the requirements stipulated by the rules and regulations in force, who are sponsored by a private institution or corporation and who will be trained for private education, may be admitted with a private status and, where applicable, into the 1st year or the 3rd year of the first cycle, the 1st year of the second, through the study of their files, in accordance with the number or places available.
2. Within the limit of available places, foreign applicants who fulfill the requirements stipulated by the rules and regulations in force may also be admitted after the study of their files.

ARTICLE 8.

The Rector of the University of Douala, the Director of University Accreditations and Quality, and the Director of the Advanced Teacher’s Training College for Technical Education (ENSET Douala), each in his/her own sphere, are responsible for the implementation of the present order which shall be registered and published in English and in French wherever necessary.
