Mindful of Order n°17/ 0045/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC/SE of 14 February 2024 to fix the calendar of the competitive examinations into the Cameroon State Universities, for the 2024/2025 academic year; On the proposal of the Rector of the University of Douala. Concours IUT Douala 2024-2025.
DECIDES AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1:
A competitive examination for the admission of five hundred and ninety three (593) students into the first year of Core Courses in Industrial Technologies (CCIT). Core Courses in Tertiary Technologies (CCTT). Core Courses in Information and Digital Technologies (CCIDT) of the Division of Initial Training of the University Institute of Technology of the University of Douala, for tie 2023/2024 academic year, shall take place on 09 July 2023. kamerpower.com
Article 2:
This entrance examination is opened to Cameroonians and foreigners of both sexes, not more than twenty-nine (29) years old on January 1st, 2024.
Article 3: Concours IUT Douala.
The number of available places for this entrance is five hundred and ninety three (593) standing :
Article 4:
The competitive examination centres for the 2024/2025 academic year are: Bafoussam, Douala, Bertoua, Ebolowa, Buéa, Bamenda and Yaoundé.
Article 5: The complete application file should comprise the following documents.
- A registration form is filled online at www.iut-douala.cm . This form shall bear a 1000 CFA francs stamp and be duly completed and signed by the candidate.
- A certified true photocopy of birth certificate not older than three (03) months.
- A certified true copy of the required diploma.
- An attestation of attendance of Upper 6th.
- A medical certificate not older than three (03) months issued by a state medical practitioner and testifying that the candidate is fit for higher education.
- Four (04) recent passport size photographs of the candidate.
- A twenty thousand (20,000) CFA francs banking receipt being examination fees to pay at UBA account No. 10033 05214 14004000006 CLE 90.
- A 21 x 29.7 size self-addressed envelope bearing a 400 CFA francs postal stamp.
- The competitive entrance examination is open to Cameroonians of both sexes, not more than twenty-nine (29) years old on January 1st, 2024.
Article 6:
Application forms are available and should be filled in and deposited latest on Friday the 07th of July 2023 at the following places:
The written examinations will take place on the 09 of July 2023 in the centres indicated in section 8.
- The Ministry of Higher Education/ Direction of University Accreditation and Quality (DUAQ).
- Admissions Office of the Douala University Institute of Technology.
The Regional Delegations of the Ministry of Secondary Educations of the various examination centres.

Article 7: The written examination in each specialty consists of the following papers:

Papers are based on the syllabus of Upper Sixth form preparing for the certificates indicated in section 3 of this announcement.
Article 8: Concours IUT Douala
A press release published by the Rector of the University of Douala shall ultimately indicate, for each examination center the place and the planning of the various papers.
Article 9:
candidates are requested to be to the examination centres at least one (01) hour before the beginning of the first paper. They must come along with their National Identity cards or any other authentic valid identification document.
Article 10:
The successful candidates shall report to UIT for registration formalities within fifteen days following the date of publication of the final results. Candidates, who fail to comply with this requirement, as need arise, shall be replaced by those on the waiting list following the order of merit, through a press release published by the Minister of Higher Education on the recommendation of the Rector of the University of Douala.
Article 11:
The Rector of the University of Douala, the Director of University Accreditations and Quality, and the Director of UIT of Douala, each in his own sphere, are responsible for the implementation of the present decision which shall be registered and published in English and in French wherever necessary.
