COMPETITIVE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO IFCPA-CRTV 2022 SESSION.

The Director General of Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) hereby informs interested candidates that a competitive entrance examination into the Training Institute for the Preservation of the Audiovisual Heritage (IFCPA) shall be organised for the 2024-2025 biennial.

Dates and Places

A- Written tests shall take place on Saturday 21 August 2023 at 7:30 am prompt in the four (04) centres below:

• Yaounde, at the Ekounou’s Government School, next to IFCPA.
• Douala, at Lycée Joss, Bonanjo.
• Bafoussam, at the Bilingual Grammar School, next to the Broadcasting House.
• Garoua, at “Ecole des Faunes”.

B- Oral tests shall take place following the publication of eligibility list, on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 September 2023 in the following centres: kamerpower.com

• Yaounde, at the Training Institute for the Preservation of The Audiovisual Heritage (IFCPA), Ekounou.
• Douala, at CRTV-Littoral, Bonanjo.
• Bafoussam, at CRTV-West.
• Garoua, at CRTV-North.

 Requirements for admission

The competitive entrance exam is opened to Cameroonians and foreign candidates of both sexes, within the limit of available seats.

Posting of final lists in the examination centres shall serve as notification.

A. For Level I:

• Be a holder of a BEPC, CAP, GCE O’level or an equivalent diploma.
• Be at least 18 years old.

B. For Level II:

• Be a holder of a Baccalaureat, GCE A’level (passed in at least two papers, excluding “Religious Knowledge”), or an equivalent diploma.
• Be atleast 18 years old.
• Be a holder of a Level 1 diploma and have a proven expertise of at least 5 years of effective service in audiovisual or film companies.

IFCPA-crtv Entrance Examination Cameroon 2024-2025 – Training Institute

Nature of papers

The competitive entrance examination shall comprise the following tests:

• A written test on general knowledge (20% of the final score).
• A written language test with a disqualifying score below 5/20 (10% of the final score).
• A written specialisation test, specific to the chosen field of study with a disqualifying score below 7/20 (50% of the final score).
• An additional test based on individual interview before a jury following eligibility (20% of the final score).
