About NAHPI Entrance Examination Bamenda?
The Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon has officially opened a competitive entrance examination by file study into the Third and Fourth Years of the National Higher Polytechnic Institute (NAHPI) of the University of Bamenda, for the 2026/2027 academic year and a total of 140 places are available across seven engineering departments — so if you’ve been waiting for this opportunity, now is the time to act.
Who Can Apply for the ENSPB Entrance Bamenda?
- This competition is open to both Cameroonian and foreign candidates of both sexes and note that Foreign candidates pay higher fees. Visit www.nahpi.cm for details.
- For Year 4 entry, you need a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) from a recognised university or institution, along with strong Mathematics results at O/L and/or A/L level.
- For Year 3 entry, you must hold at least one of the following qualifications in a relevant discipline:
HND, UDT, BTS, B.Tech, B.Sc, or DIPET I or II (civil servants need study permission). Your qualification must be recognised as equivalent by the Cameroon Ministry of Higher Education. Strong grades in O/L and/or A/L Mathematics are also required.
What to expect After Admission
If you are admitted after admission, you will be required to pay annual training fees as fixed by the University of Bamenda Council Administration, in addition to standard university registration fees, payable each year until you complete your M.Eng programme.

What Documents Do You Need for NAHPI Bamenda?
Your complete application file must include:
Step 1 — Pay Your Registration Fee First
Pay 20,000 FCFA (non-refundable) into the NAHPI account at UBA Bank:
Bank code: 10033 | Branch code: 05204 | Account number: 0400400009038 and no other payment method is accepted. This payment is mandatory before online registration.
Step 2 — Register your application Online
Go to www.nahpi.cm, complete the registration form, and print your Acceptance Slip after submission.
Step 3 — Compile Your Physical File
Your file must contain:
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Four (4) passport-size photographs.
- Certified true copy of birth certificate (not older than 3 months).
- Medical certificate of fitness from a State Medical Practitioner (not older than 3 months)
- Certified true copy of your entry certificate or attestation of success.
- Certified true copies of GCE OL/AL or Baccalauréat/Probatoire certificates.
- Original payment receipt (20,000 FCFA)
- Printed Acceptance Slip (from online registration).
- Certified true copies of academic transcripts from your last institution.
- One self-addressed large envelope with a 400 FCFA postal stamp.
Step 4 — Submit Your Physical Application Files
Where & When to Submit Your File?
Complete application files must be physically submitted at:
- NAHPI Bamenda — Director’s Office, Bambili.
- Regional Delegations of Secondary Education in: Bamenda, Bafoussam, Buea, Douala, or Yaoundé.
Deadline for Application Files: Wednesday, 17 September 2026.
Incomplete files or those submitted after this date will be automatically rejected — no exceptions.
How Are Candidates Selected For This Exam?
A merit-ranked list will be prepared per programme by an officially designated jury and submitted to the Minister of Higher Education for publication.
Selection is purely based on your academic file — no written exam. Here’s how scoring works:

Helloo please i need the total cost
The training fee for M.Eng is too expensive considering that we don’t have robust machines in UBa and again this will only reduce number of students who can afford for this training. Cameroon needs enough people trained in this fields. I suggest the training fee be reduced to 300,000fCFA. thanks
