uti.blackboard : Logging into UTI blackboard & Setting Up Blackboard Account & Student email. Blackboard is the Learning Management System (LMS) used by Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to house course materials and deliver online classes. You can check your grades, syllabus, assignments due, and communicate with your instructors.
Students can train for careers in Automotive and Diesel, Collision Repair, Motorcycle and Marine, and Welding, all the way to Aviation, Energy, HVACR, and CNC Machining through programs offered at our 16 trade school campuses. Additionally, students can earn credentials and recognitions from manufacturers and professional organizations.

How to Set Up Your UTI blackboard Account
Step 1: Entering the URL
Type http://uti.blackboard.com into Google Chrome.
Step 2: Using UTI student email
Use your Universal Technical Institute (UTI) student email address for the username and your UTI student email address password for the password. If you have already set up your UTI email account but have forgotten the password, please click on this link: https://www.uti.edu/reset-uti-email-password. If you have not set up your UTI student email, you will find set-up instructions here: https://www.uti.edu/training/email-access.
How to log into UTI email
Students, faculty, and staff are provided e-mail service by ITS. To log into Universal Technical Institute Email Portal
- Access your student email account at https://portal.office.com.
- This redirects you to the outlook email Login page
- Enter your email@student.uti.edu when prompted for a username.
- Enter your UTI Student Portal password into the field labeled password.
How to Start Taking Online Courses
Step 1:
Make sure to set up your UTI student email if you haven’t already done so. To learn more on setting up your UTI student email, visit this link: https://www.uti.edu/training/email-access.
Step 2:
Your campus will be conducting an orientation on how to access your online course. Your campus will send the orientation/registration information to your UTI student email.
How to Log into UTI blackboard
To log into the Universal Technical Institute Blackboard;
- To log into Blackboard, visit https://uti.blackboard.com/
- This will take you to the search Microsoft Login page.
- Use your email@student.uti.edu and password to log in.
How to Access Your Courses on UTI blackboard
- The “Institution Page” is the first thing you see after logging in to Cod blackboard.
- To access your courses, select “Courses” in the menu on the left side of the screen. Click the name of a course to access it.
- Click on the course link that appears under ‘My Courses’.
- Begin exploring the content of your course by utilizing the menu bar on the left side of your screen.
- Start by reviewing the syllabus and then continue by clicking on the course content.
How to Set Up Your Blackboard Ultra Account
Blackboard Ultra will use Single Sign On, which means that after it has been set up, you no longer have to use your password to log into Blackboard.
- You will continue to use http://uti.blackboard.com
- It is highly recommended that you use Google Chrome and enable third-party cookies.
- When prompted for your user credentials, use your username@student.uti.edu address and student email password. If you do not know your student email address, please email campus_support@uti.edu.
- If you have trouble logging in, please contact the Service Desk.
